Room of the Four Elements Like the Room of the Herons, the Room of the Four Elements forms part of the "white and blue" apartment, which is named after the colour of the painted decorations completed in 1736.The Room is named after the four grisailles that embellish the walls and represent allegories of the four elements: water, air, fire and earth. The floor is tiled in 18th-century Piedmontese terracotta. |
