Masino - Borgomasino Masino | San Giorgio Canavese - Masino (22.8 km) | Masino Castle
 | Masino Castle is a memorable place to visit. Dating back to late medieval times, for ten centuries the castle was home to the Counts Valperga di Masino before it was acquired by FAI in 1987. The castle dominates the entire Canavese plain below, but over time it was transformed into a country residence and surrounded by a vast English-style park. The ashes of Arduino of Ivrea, King of Italy, are conserved in the chapel. You can use a free audioguide or book a guided tour when visiting the castle. A bookshop, car park and bar-restaurant are nearby.
Opening times: From March to September: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; from October to mid-December and February: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; open every day, except Mondays unless it is a public holiday.
